1. What data we collect

On trendbite.eu/en/hr we collect only the minimum data needed to run the site:

  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, screen resolution, browser language; processed automatically during your visit.
  • Cookies — see section 4 below.
  • E-mail address — only if you contact us at the address provided.

We do not collect special categories of data. The site requires no registration or login.

2. Why we use the data

We use the collected data only to:

  • Ensure the correct operation and security of the site
  • Analyse traffic and improve content (anonymised statistics)
  • Answer your enquiries (if you contact us)

We do not process data for profiling, automated decision-making or direct marketing.

3. Sharing data with third parties

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared only with the following parties:

  • Cloudflare Inc. — hosting and server infrastructure (CDN, Workers) and Cloudflare Web Analytics (anonymous, cookieless traffic measurement that processes no personal data). It processes data solely on our behalf.

Data may also be disclosed to public authorities in cases provided for by law.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small text files saved in your browser during your visit. On trendbite.eu/en/hr we use the following cookie categories:

Necessary cookies

Essential for the basic operation of the site (consent management, security, page rendering). They cannot be switched off, because without them the site would not work properly. They process no personal data for marketing purposes.

Analytics measurement

For traffic analysis we use Cloudflare Web Analytics — measurement is fully cookieless, stores no identifiers in your browser and processes no personal data. Cloudflare's measurement therefore requires no consent and sets no cookies of its own. Analytics cookies are only ever set by Microsoft Clarity, and only if you accept them — see “Managing consent” below.

Managing consent

On your first visit a consent banner appears and asks whether you agree to analytics cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser under the name tb-consent (in localStorage; storing the choice itself requires no consent) and you can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” button in the footer. If you accept, Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.) may set cookies to measure how the site is used; if you decline or make no choice, Clarity runs in a cookieless mode and no analytics cookies are set. We use no advertising services and set no advertising cookies.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.) to improve site usability. It records anonymised page interactions (mouse movement, scrolling, clicks) and produces aggregate heatmaps. Clarity only sets cookies and records sessions after you give consent in the consent banner; without consent it stores no cookies or persistent identifiers. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

5. Legal basis for processing

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — analytics cookies (Microsoft Clarity). You give consent through the consent banner and can withdraw it at any time.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — cookies necessary for the technical operation of the site and cookieless analytics measurement.

6. Data retention period

Aggregated cookieless analytics data (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is kept by the provider for the time needed for statistical evaluation. Cookies have an individual validity period as indicated above. We keep e-mail correspondence for the time needed to handle the enquiry, up to a maximum of 3 years.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have:

  • Right of access — to learn what data we process about you
  • Right to rectification — to request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure — to request deletion of your data
  • Right to restriction of processing — to request restriction in certain cases
  • Right to object — to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Right to withdraw consent — at any time, via the cookie-settings icon on the site
  • Right to lodge a complaint — with the supervisory authority: the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP — Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka), azop.hr

To exercise your rights, contact us at trendbite.main@gmail.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transfer (HTTPS/TLS), secure hosting and regular security reviews.
