Corrections and notices

TrendBite is committed to accuracy and transparency. If you find a factual error, an inaccuracy or misleading information in any of our articles, please let us know.

How to report an error

Write to trendbite.main@gmail.com with the subject “Correction” and include:

  • A link to the article containing the error
  • A description of the error or inaccuracy
  • Where possible, a link to a reliable source

How we make corrections

  1. Assessment — We usually review each report within 48 hours on business days.
  2. Minor corrections — Typos and stylistic errors are corrected without a separate note.
  3. Factual corrections — Significant factual corrections are marked directly in the text of the article with a dated note.
  4. Withdrawal of an article — If an article contains serious inaccuracies that cannot be easily corrected, we withdraw it and add a notice.

Voluntary correction policy

The process above is a voluntary editorial policy of TrendBite — we adopt it on our own initiative, as part of our commitment to accuracy and transparency. It does not constitute the fulfilment of a legal obligation and does not carry a statutory deadline or a guaranteed obligation to publish.

The right of reply under Greek law

The right of reply and rectification is established in Greek law mainly for the print press (Law 1178/1981) and for broadcast media (Presidential Decree 100/2000), with a constitutional basis in Article 14 of the Constitution. For online text sites such as TrendBite, there is no dedicated, standalone statutory right of reply. Regardless, we treat every correction or reply request seriously through our voluntary policy above. Please send requests to the editorial address: trendbite.main@gmail.com.

Transparency

We believe that open communication about errors strengthens reader trust. We do not try to hide mistakes — on the contrary, correcting them is an opportunity for us to improve.
